Pat CuchensPatricia Cuchens

 Beginning with an undergraduate degree in English Education and an M.A.T. in English, Ms. Cuchens has continued her professional studies in such diverse areas as web design tools, grant writing, and English as a Second Language (ESL). She has considerable experience as a teacher from elementary school through college teaching such diverse subjects as grammar, literature, language arts, reading, world geography, history, and social studies. In addition, she has served as a scorer for Oak Hill Technology, Inc., on behalf of the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for the Texas Examinations of Educator Standards (TExES) English Language Arts and Reading test (current). Using her skill at writing, she has completed projects involving business and technical writing, editing and proofreading, presentations, reports, instructional materials, and curriculum development. 

August TarrierAugust Tarrier

 August Tarrier, Ph.D is an award-winning writer, editor and English professor. Her superb editing and writing skills and extensive experience in project management have enabled her to launch a small press, an independent bookstore, and an alternative-nutrition consulting business. Dr. Tarrier has over fifteen years’ experience as an Assistant Professor of English. She works as a writing consultant, specializing in editing scholarly and academic work, including articles for professional journals, dissertations, and books. She is expert at improving clarity and polishing prose, but she also provides sensitive critique to writers at the developmental level, addressing issues of structure and argument, as well as tone and impact. Dr. Tarrier works extensively with authors of creative manuscripts, such as novels, stories and memoirs, giving constructive and supportive feedback and providing notes on style, structure, grammar and spelling. 

Deborah HarbinDeborah Harbin

 With an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Prairie View A & M University in Houston, Texas, Ms. Harbin’s strength is a clear, concise writing style with a high readability for all audiences. Her experience and training on the FOG Index of Readability allows her to write so an audience can more easily understand the concepts she is working with. With over 27 years of experience as an educator and administrator, she has considerable professional expertise as a proofreader and editor. She has written several successful grants and contributed to online articles at Educationworld.com. She has also worked as an online scorer for Educational Testing Service (ETS) and has had classroom ideas published in several issues of The Mailbox, a national teacher’s magazine. 

Eleanor BinningsEleanor Binnings

 As a creative writer herself, Eleanor Binnings has taken her Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from American University in Washington, D.C. and spent her educational life as a teacher of this creative art. She has focused on teaching composition both in the classroom and online which gives her a unique perspective of the craft. Her own skills were highlighted when she served as Creative Director for Hanson Marketing & Advertising as a copy writer for TV, radio, and print projects. In addition to her skills as a writer, she designed advertising campaigns and developed marketing plans. Her freelance projects include study guides, proposals, business and marketing plans, creative work, editorials, website content, and technical writing. 

Wanda MorganWanda Morgan

 Dr. Morgan’s career has been considerable as demonstrated by her inclusion in publications such as Who’s Who of American Women, Who’s Who in the East, and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry. Her doctorate in Rhetoric from the University of Oklahoma punctuates an academic career that includes the study of Religion and English. As an accomplished writer, she is involved in, among other things, the creation of teacher certification study guides as a writer and editor in addition to serving as a consultant/advisor to the Oklahoma State Legislature on the preparation of competency tests for teachers.
